Personally i had a huge issue with this quest my first try was worst ended up killing 300x mobs in 30 mins with help of Eire/Monty huge thanks to them than killed a boss and THAN ended up needed 6x each of bluevonder/whitespirit stones each which was ewww for me lol but than i found this guide

Follow the guide and you wont have any issues ^_^
Fyi, the answers in the guide give you high probability of getting an easier quest its not 100% success
